Andy Friedman, DMD returned to his beloved native New England after earning a B.A. from Case Western University in Ohio. In 1977 he graduated from Boston University Dental School. At that time, Dr. Friedman began practicing through the Rural Dental Health Program in Bingham. He later established a practice in Jackman, which he ran for over 10 years. In 1988, he joined and then bought the Madison practice, where he remains.
Dr. Friedman is a member of the American Dental Association, and is the former Jackman Health Center Chair of the Board. Most recently, he was a participant on the Waterville Dental Coalition Board, which planned and executed a beautiful new and operating dental clinic for uninsured and lower-income residents in Waterville. He also served as Vice President for the Kennebec Valley Dental Association, and was on the Board of Temple Beth Israel.
At the office of Dr. Friedman, we believe in preventive dentistry. Preventive dentistry is best for your overall health. However, circumstances do not always allow for preventive dentistry. Because of that, Dr. Friedman is also here to help those in need of emergency extractions.
Dr.Friedman enjoys being a Dad and a Dentist, with all the joys and challenges associated with both.
